I found a great blog about TMI, to much information, by Twenge. Only problem I could not post on it but I will attach the link below and put a blog underneath it.

You would think parents keep an eye on their child but I guess not. Thing is though are children are getting more knowledged in the wrong department. I guess an easy way is to block sites to kids or talk to them about internet safety. I might be crazy but I might tell my future kids the computer was never invented.

Gen Me
I found the article to be very interesting. It was funny in ome spots. Such as the people driving in cars blasting their music. It's funny because it's true. I understand how things have changed from one time period to the next, It just seems that back then everyone seemed stuck up. How they couldn't talk about sex, and how man and female couldn't even sit together. I find it interesting how the speach of language has changed. Teens do use the word "Fuck" for every other word in their sentences. It is also good how the way we can have our wedding the way we want it, I am glad that I can wear what I want when I get married. There was a sentence in the article about how if you were this you couldn't be part of this generation. (42)

Speak Up Be Heard
In class we watched a documentary named "Speak Up, Be Heard". The class disscused some of the issues in our group circle. The fact that some R$B artist's degrade black women, how Universities are running as a bussines, and the use of the "N" word. But some of the things that really were interesting was how Generation X don't care much about how people are getting pregnate and talk about sex. A lot of kids after college end up in debt because of loans and credit cards. The sad thing though is that it is true. We realize that we have this free privalge of free money and go crazy with it. It was pretty cool knowing that 1/8 of our generation aour immagrants. That shows people of different background can get into college. I like how homosexuals are coming out and are willing to go to school. It shows they are not scared anymore to show who they are. One of the sad the things about black people. 1/2 of black men dont graduate from college and 1/2 of black men are jobless.

Military Boarding School May Not Be For Defiant Teen
Some military schools won't take troubled teen
Some parents want to send a troubled teen to military boarding school. They should be aware, however, that not all military schools will accept a defiant teen.Military schools have become respected academic institutions and a defiant teen (especially one who does not wish to be there) may be rejected. It is possible to find a military boarding school for troubled teen, but they are few and far between. However, if your teenager is only mildly troubled, and willing to try something new, military boarding school might be helpful.
My insite on this was, why would a parent go through so much to put there child in a military school and what happended to military schools not taking trouble teens. Myparents were thinkning about putting my sister in a military school but they changed there minds. I guess this is way. If a parent want to help ther child, they should not put them in a military school if the teen does not want togo there. It will only cause more problems with the child.
This reminds me of the NPR intervies with John Mayer. He was sayingthat teens dont like to be told what to do. If we dont want to do it, dont force it. Also the homework I read, Provance: "Generation Y's Silent Protest", it was sad how kids found that someone joing the Navy or any thing around those lines as a disease. Apparently its bad.
